Working human mini muscles grown from skin cells in scientific first

Scientists have developed tiny artificial human muscles from skin cells. These artificial muscles cells are an effective non-animal alternative for muscular disease research because they are able to contract and respond to neural and electrical stimuli like real human muscles. Researchers believe with further development these muscle cells can be used to help treat localized muscle injuries.
