QUT’s Tunable 3D Printer Ink Presents the Future of Pharmaceuticals

Researchers at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) have been developing a printable bioink that mimics the properties organ tissues and cells. This printable bioink can be altered to exhibit different chemical properties and support the growth of human stem cells. The researchers at QUT state that this technology provides more reliable and effective drug test results eradicating the need for animal testing.
